Detection Angles (European version only)

1. Detection angle

The detection angle is customizable from the 20 degrees narrow angle to the 180 degrees wide angle. 20 degrees will probably not give any false alerts, but risk to miss cameras while 180 degrees will include all cameras in the area. The narrower angle you choose the better reception you should have. Only select 20 and 40 degrees if you have green (4-5 bars) GPS reception all the time.

2. Normal operation

You are traveling towards the camera in the direction of the camera and your iPhone will trigger an alert at your selected alert distance. 90 degrees is the default settings and will work great in most circumstances. You can set your preferred detection angle on the application flip side (i). The basic rules are: Good/great GPS reception and straight roads: low detection angle, bad GPS reception and/or curvy roads: high detection angle.

3. False alert

The camera on the adjacent road will trigger an alert.

4. Late warning

You may experience a late alert as you are traveling towards the camera only after the curve.
