How complete is the coverage?
The camera information is licensed from the best sources, so this is as good as it gets. It varies depending on location, but the coverage is generally between 95% and 100%. You can check the coverage here:

How do I get updates when cameras are installed/removed?
Cams Ahoy! is working with SCDB (Europe) and POI Factory (United States and Canada) to provide a solution for this. In the mean time, you can report missing or erroneous cameras through their web sites:

• POI Factory (United States and Canada)

Why do cameras monitoring the other side of the road trigger an alert?
This is a licensing issue. Cams Ahoy! only contains the position of cameras, not the direction they are monitoring. Stay tuned! ;)

Does the application need an Internet connection?
No. All positions are in a database within the application.

What about battery drain?
Cams Ahoy! stays in the fore ground and uses the GPS functionality and will therefore require quite a lot of your iPhone. We recommend that you use a car charger.
